Hey, I’m Camila.

Marketing + social media has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. It’s a field I never found boring because it is always evolving and there is a continuous need for it.

But let me rewind back to how Refined Marketing Services was born. I was 18-years-old with an eye for detail, a heart to create, and a mind of determination. I knew that creating my own business while still in college would be challenging and probably not the most traditional route to take, but I took a leap of faith and did it anyway (learned a lot!)

During those college days, I used the spare time I had to learn the ropes of all things social media, get experience through internships, my own page/clients, and online material.

Now, a UCF alumna, this brings us up to speed. Refined Marketing Services was born through a combination of passions, my desire to help others see social media how I see it- that it is a wonderful marketing tool if used the right way, and prayer.

My role is to be a valuable resource to clients’ social media growth and success, as well as ensure that all the work crafted for them aligns with their vision + goals.

  • My first two years of college were spent while I was in high school (I was in the Dual-Enrollment program that allowed me to graduate high school with my A.A.) at Valencia college. My third and fourth year of college was at the University of Central Florida where I majored in Interdisciplinary studies (Go Knights!). This major is for multi-passionate people who combine different disciplines to create their own degree. My areas were psychology and business, with a minor in strategic communication.

    They say marketing is the psychology of business, so my degree was right up my alley!

  • The word “Refined” has a lot of meaning to me because I am a follower of Jesus, and believe that each day He is refining me, focusing on the details that need to be worked on, and ultimately making me whole through Him! Not only does this make sense for me, but it makes sense when marketing for businesses. I believe that our social media approach will help Refine and improve your socials, as we focus on every detail that matters so that you can level-up and reach the goals you’ve dreamed of!
